Zsirai Wines
The Zsirai family winery was born from a deep respect for Hungarian wine heritage. Founded by the late Zsirai György, who believed in preserving tradition and working in harmony with nature, the estate is now run by his daughters Kata and Petra. Their guiding principles of creation, attention, preservation and love for nature inform every decision, from the vineyard to the cellar.
Operating across three regions, Zsirai cultivates old vines of Furmint and Hárslevelű, crafting dry whites that capture each site’s volcanic personality. Since the early 2000s, they have championed high‑quality dry Tokaj wines made from these grapes, emphasising crisp acidity, lime and orchard‑fruit aromas, and a mineral core. The family purchased their first vineyard in 2005 and has since grown to 13 hectares around Mád, focusing on organic farming and minimal intervention winemaking.
In this collection you’ll find vibrant dry Furmint and Hárslevelű whites. Each bottle reflects the Zsirai sisters’ dedication to authenticity and their belief that wine should be a pure expression of place.
