The Boldogságos vineyard in Egerszólát is one of the winery's most unique terroirs, giving an unmistakable character to the wines due to the combination of rhyolitic tuff volcanic rock and marine sedimentary limestone-based subsoil. The climate here is continental, with cold winters and hot summers, and at an elevation of 194-235 metres above sea level.

𝗙𝗨𝗡 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧! Egri Csillag, meaning Star of Eger, takes its name from a famous Hungarian historical novel that was first published in 1899. The plot follows the adventures of Bornemissza Gergely, a boy who grows up to become a defender of the Eger castle, and his love, Éva Cecey, who tries to enter the besieged fortress. The novel is a staple of Hungarian literature, known for blending history with themes of love, loyalty, and sacrifice.
