The brightness and energy in this wine shows fresh cherries, white pepper and minerality, along with crushed stone, limestone and graphite. It is full-bodied with terrific clarity and transparency, coupled with a savoury minerality and very, very long finish. Vivid, subtle and intensely complex.

The Nagy-Eged comes from the same slopes as the Agape but from different elevation. This is made from the lower part of the hill where elevation rises to about 330 metres. The site is dominated by marine sedimentary limestone and shaped by a continental climate, giving the wines their distinctive tension and minerality.

𝗙𝗨𝗡 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧! The name 'Nagy-Eged' refers to three things all at once: the hill itself, the vineyard on its slopes and the wine that carries its name.

St. Andrea is a family-run business which was started 20 years ago by György and Andrea, and this year they will be celebrating their 20th anniversary with much to look back upon.

Over the years, St. Andrea has won over 18 awards and has grown to become one of Hungary's most widely recognised and respected brands.

They believe in working with local traditional varietals such as Olaszrizling, Hárslevelű, Furmint, Kadarka and Kékfrankos as the terroir provides the perfect conditions for these grapes to thrive.
