❰ The Collection ❱
"Cabernet Sauvignon Barrique" 2017
Black fruit aromas accompanied by beautifully integrated oak characteristics of smoke and vanilla. Fresh and bright with a long finish.
A burst of cherries, sweet spices, forest floor and a hint of vanilla. It's surprising how well balanced the wine is even though it is a blend of 7 varieties. The winemaker has done an excellent job with this wine, truly deserving of both the 'Winemaker of the Year' and 'Winemaker's Winemaker Award'.
• 'Aldas' Egri Bikaver Superior 2020
• Cabernet Sauvignon Barrique 2017
Blackberries and black cherries on the initial sip, followed by vanilla and sweet spices from oak ageing.
These wines are medium to full-bodied with well balanced acidity and tannin.
Great for those who do not like the bitter, drying & 'rough' taste on your teeth (like over steeped teh-O from the coffee shop).
❰ Food Pairing ❱
From cheese to local zi char dishes, these wines will go well with almost anything due to its approachable nature. The only exceptions are shellfish and spicy food, which is a risky pairing for most red wines.
