Aromas of tobacco, dry summer hay, and toasted cashews give it a deceptively savory character at first. But the palate surprises with an explosion of sweet pineapple syrup and honey-soaked nuts—so intense and layered, it practically takes your breath away.

The 'Bor'

In one of the best vintages of the last decade, top-quality Furmint-Aszús were soaked in fermenting Furmint-base must for about 24 hours, and the fermented wine was aged for two years in Hungarian oak barrels. This selection is a batch of about two barrels of unique character taken separately from this excellent aszú. Despite its extremely high residual sugar content, it is very well-balanced, which is also due to the minerality of the unique terroir.

Will age for more than 50 years.
